I've lost quite a few inches all over already... however, now I seem to have hit a stall in the hips & butt but the rest is shrinking. Is this a stall?
What you're describing is just a trick of the eyes. The body loses fat evenly from everywhere on the body...but I understand what you're saying. When I lose weight, it seems like the dreaded love-handles go nowhere or sometimes even seems like they're getting bigger. Thats just because there happens to be alot more fat there to begin with, so while other spots like arms and chest slim down fast (because there's less total fat there), it looks like the fatter areas are staying the same. But rest assured, its scientific fact that the body burns fat evenly everywhere. Unfortunately, sometimes this makes it look as if some areas are getting worse instread of better, but this is just an optical illusion type of thing...and another thing that often gets dieters frustrated! Don't be fooled!
