  • Great article on BMI

This is at Howstuffworks.com, which is one of my favorite websites (after ADBB, of course!). It also includes a BMI calculator -- according to which, I'm still in the overweight range (as if I didn't know!).

        Re: Great article on BMI

I hate it I hate the BMI altogetehr cause with my Muscle mass the way it is I would never be able to be in the healthy range on there unless I was like 8% Bodyfat. SO if you exercise and have muscle mass these are a real FARCE. They should make the BMI calc for those who are higher in Muscle mass. I am 31% Body fat it I lose another 18 pounds I'll be 22% but still OBESE on the chart.

Page three of the article goes into the controversy of over-and-underestimation. That's what makes the site so awesome. It discusses the very issue Sarah brought up, and discusses it with fairness, giving links and other information as well.

          The site just rocks!
