I got out the old inchtape the other night and passed it around various bits of my body. Very interesting results!

I've lost seven inches off my waist, four off my bust and two off my hips since April. Everything else is more or less as it was back in April. Having joined Curves a fortnight ago I am very much hoping that following the exercise regime there will help me to start to lose more of the inches.

But hey, if I lose too much more the trousers I'm wearing will fall down around my ankles! Think that's a good excuse for some retail therapy in a smaller size, don't you? ::grins::

Seven inches off your waist! Isn't that amazing?! Good for you!

I've made up a chart in my hardcover journal where I will measure myself every once in a while, and I like looking at the numbers getting smaller...it's so encouraging.

            Re: Sizes...

Went down the retail therapy route on Saturday - got two pairs of trouser from a charity shop that were the right leg length for me (being small the leg length can be a major issue when it comes to trousers!) and tried them on - they FIT!

            And the size? UK 14!!

Ok the scales and I are having a bad time communicating right now but since the body is fitting into smaller things I don't really care!

Still got a long way to go but am so pleased about not looking at the plus sizes any more in shops.
