  • Baby Seats

I’ve noticed the last few days that it’s getting increasingly difficult to carry my baby (he’s 16 months today). This morning I tried on pants that I last wore before I got pregnant and I realised why it’s so difficult to carry him. The baby seats on my hips are disappearing

Weigh-day is Wednesday next week so I am not sure if I lost anything since my last weigh-day, but judging by the pants that fit again and the disappearing baby seats, I’m sure I lost inches.

The sad part is that the only “useful” fat on my body are the first to go. Might be because of all the “hip bumps” we’ve been getting from Cleo in the NYE challenge

Great job on getting rid of those!! My dd is 10 and I still have them!! My dh says they are shrinking but not at the same rate (yep, actual physical proof that I am unbalanced! )

    Congrats!! Do your happy dance!

O my goodness, I never thought of that. I usually carry him on my left hip. Maybe there are still seating arrangements for him on my right hip

Just think of how strong those arm muscles will become now. I have a two year old and he is definately giving me arm muscles. Good job on the loss of inches.

            Re: Baby Seats

I got such a chuckle out of this post -- it wasn't what I was expecting, at all! Congratulations, though, on a happy new "problem!"

I remember as I lost weight that I discovered that, sometimes when seated, I had gotten in the habit of crossing my arms and resting them on the top of my big belly. The day I figured out that I had been doing this was the day they slid on down, because I had lost my "resting place!"
