    I have found myself having to wear extra layers to work this winter and I'm still shivering constantly! I'm just proud that I've avoided Bronchitus this year! Woohoo! lol

      A few months ago I commented I was warmer. Until recently we have had an incredibly good run if weather in Britain. Even in September I would often sleep completely uncovered (not a stitch!) - to the extent I was thinking my thermostat was set high on Atkins.

      But now the temperature has fallen I think my tolerance for the cold is considerably reduced.

      Make of that what you will.

      Both observations could be true - running hotter, so when temperate, less clothing is required; but less insulation under the skin, so more clothing is needed when cold.

      (And K5, I don't think I want to know about your nipples )

        I'm definately colder this year. But now I'm working in a place that is not heated. Yeah. They don't heat public schools in Japan. It makes the kids strong. Or that's what they say anyway. So now I sit at my desk in slippers and my jacket with a blanket over my lap. And homes aren't insulated here either, so my apartment is always chilly! But it feels chillier this year than last year.

        Fortuantely, I have quite a few cute new (smaller) sweaters this year to keep me (sort of) warm and toasty. Without any actual toast.

          I have been freezing for the past week - it will be 71 F inside and I am sitting here with a thick blanket, sweats, and a hood -- tonight I took my temp, its me! 102.5F - I'm one hot mamma

            Heavens! I always felt the cold, but now with 21 Kgs less insulation, Il literally freeeeeeezzze! Walking the dogs at seven in the morning, with the ground all white and frosty is....brrrrrrrrrrrrr! At least the dogs don't seem to feel it!

              Recently had two babies in short time frame and gained 80-100lbs with EACH pregnancy- argh.

                My husband always teased me that I must have been raised on the sun, as I was always turning the heat down and the a/c UP! But now I always the one FREEEEEZING! Very new territory for me!
