  • Looking for someone in a similar...boat?

    Hey...
    I'm 18, 5'9" and 155 lbs...I lost 12 (down from 162) but then finals struck...not a valid excuse but it was a convenient one. Long story short, I obviously gained five pounds over the last two weeks of school.
    Over the break I plan on weaning myself off refined carbs again, and will start induction as soon as I get back.
    What I was wondering was...is there anyone here with similar stats (weight and height)? It would be really helpful to have someone in the same square as I am with similar goals.
    P.S. - Is anyone here in college/on a university meal plan right now?

    Hi Cleo
    It looks like you have got a plan

    You might find it worth while reading through the Second Time Around Club forum and saying hello to the regulars there who all have restarted the plan at least once and will have lots of advice I am sure.
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      I'm shorter than you and I weighed a lot more to start with, but with regards to food and meal plans I was kind of in the same boat. I work full time, I work from 8am to 10pm so I have breakfast lunch and dinner at work, which made is really difficult to get into a routine of eating correctly. But I overcame it! IF this is your first time at Atkins, let me tell you that you WILL be weaned off sweet foods and carbs if you do induction right. In a few weeks time you wont even want any of those forbidden foods!
