George Forman Grill Plates

Can you wash the removabel plates in the dishwahsher. THey are one piece so I would think so but the book is vague about it.
I wash them them (80-90%) first then put them in the dishwasher..

What are you guys doing?

Don't have one of those but surely if they are removable it is for washing? There wouldn't be any other reason to take 'em out. Try an Internet search for advice.

OK, I ran mine thru the dishwasher, unfortunatley they didn't come completely clean, so I ended up having to rewash them by hand. So I would say that although they are dishwasher safe, Last night when I used the grill again I just washed them by hand, its super quick anyway and they only had to be washed once this way!
