  • The Gym finally

    I finally got myself inroled in a gym. Now all i have to do is go to it.lolll My hubby was against the idea but hey this one is for me.. I use to do weights when i was 20 but now at 36 i want to go back in time.. I went nuts last week.. I looked at myself in a mirror and looked at myself closely.. Everything was flabby.. I just sat there and cryed. Well the tears have dried and now i am taking action. Bye Bye flab i will not miss you. I decided to take a personal trainer once a week since the equipement is new to me and i do not want to pull a muscle or something. Well here i go on the road to fittness.. never know i may be the next bodybuilder canada has yet to see.
    Life is a horse.. When it throws you down you have to hop right back on.

      Congratulations on doing it for yourself. Sometimes it takes us putting our foot down and saying we deserve something for ourself to get others to see we really have change. I guarantee you if your husband sees the changes he will appreciate the hard work and perhaps even think the money well spent (I know I do when I see my wife's commitment to the treadmill now and aspirations to doing 10k race). Keep up the hard work and show everyone what you can do.

        I go to a gym 5 days a week now. When I first started it was soooo hard for me to just go. I didn't wanna.

        But now I love going to the gym! I feel lost when I don't go on my days off.

          It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




          I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

              Yes, the gym is addictive. When I started (8 weeks ago) it took me over 30 mins to do 2 kms on the treadmill, now I'm down to 21m 10secs! And on my regular est day (Sunday because they don't open till 8.00 am) I'm usually so restless by 5.45 (I start gym at 5.30 am daily) I get up and go for a walk! It really gets you in and that good feeling is just awesome.
