I have a question about ketosis? I bought the test sticks last night but they showed as negative? am I supposed to be purple all the time? I havent lost any more wieght even though Im exersieing now could only do 30 mins bike today and 15 mins weight pulling im trying so hard not to get discouraged

GKnight, I never could get the darn things to change color for me, and I managed to lose 30 pounds. There are other ways to tell if your in ketosis, nasty taste in mouth, bad breath, etc.
Also there is a point in Atkins when you stop dropping water weight and start losing fat and often there is a time between the two when we sort of hesitate, (not stall) During that time, believe it or not, your losing inches. Try on a tight pair of jeans if you don't believe me and see what happens.
I think you should post a menu also, but just hang in there, there is an adjustment time and that could be part of the problem.

go read our FAQ topics on stix and you will put your box up and save your money and frustration. if you are eating your Atkins correctly keeping the carbs under that 20 limit of induction and not over eating your proteins you will be in ketosis.
