    Unsweetened shredded coconut?

    Where can I find this? I thought that I would be able to find it in any grocery store, but apparently that isn't the case.

    I don't really have time to go to every grocery store in town. Does anyone know where I can find this?

      While I cannot find jicama there, Wegman's has unsweeted coconut, but you'd have to do the shredding yourself. All of the skin is taken off and everything.

          I don't believe we have Wegman here.

          Is it sold in bags at all? How would I shred it?

              the best thing you can do if you want it is to call the stores and ask if they carry it Kroger her did for a while. You can get it shredded very fine called dessicated at a healthfood store.

                  I don't know of any Kroger either.

                  I have King Soopers, Safeway, Albertsons and Sams Club. Does anyone know if any of these stores carry unsweetened shredded coconut?

                      Hey, I just moved, last August, to Arlington after 20 years of living in D.C. Where the heck is Wegman's? Never heard of it.
