So I've been getting a little bored and stuck in a food rut. I got up this morning and cooked up a pork chop for breakfast and it was the most sinful flavor in the world!!!! There is no way I should be eating THAT good and still losing weight!!! No wonder people hate Atkins so much. If you're not starving yourself to death or eating rice cakes to lose weight, you're being self indulgent and deserve to be fat. Losing weight really shouldn't be so enjoyable.... Honestly, I cannot belive people think eating like this is unhealthy. Compared to having rice cakes or cereal for breakfast - I took in more nutrients with that pork chop! Not to mention I won't be so hungry I could eat the carpet later. So glad that I don't have to live the low fat lie anymore....

I don't know what part of the country you are in, but when I was a kid there were diners that used to serve "pork chop and eggs" or "steak and eggs" for breakfast!~Megs~

Oh yeah! I'm from California - the world's granola/berkenstock capital. Actually, we have diners that offer steak and eggs or p/c and eggs. I've never been a cereal girl myself - always meat and potatoes for breakfast. I usually have the steak for breakfast and have had p/c for breakfast before but never made the p/c myself before.27 F 5' 7"

I think that's great Slimndown! Just think.. there ARE a lot of things out there you haven't tried, and there ARE a lot of choices, if you aren't afraid to look outside the box and expand your knowledge!

Jimmie your pic is too cute!--- speaking of breakfast foods, my fav was always cold pizza or spaghetti... Now I love cold low carb pizza style foods and cold spaghetti squash with lots of meat and tomatoes or tomato sauce! YUMMY!!! And I am from TN, pork chops are served in most places here for breakfast! However, I think a lot of places bread them around here....
