  • To All The Cheaters....

    To All The Cheaters,

You feel ashamed, embarrassed, possibly even in denial but the truth is you shouldn’t. Beating yourself up over spilt milk isn’t going to turn back time and take that cookie out of your mouth. The only way to fix it is to get right back on the horse and continue on. The cravings will come, and at times seem unbearable. You might think that you just can’t do this, that it’s too hard and you would be right. IT IS HARD!!! But nothing great in life has ever come easy. Use this as a learning tool, was that cake, cookie, soda, etc. really worth making you feel this bad? Most likely not. You started this way of life because YOU wanted to. Don’t give up now, learn from your experiences, and strive for success. Take it one day at a time and you WILL get there.

Can I just add to this?

With a cheat, there is a silver lining! If you do fall foul to temptation and feel totally gutted afterwards, you will be much stronger in the future as you will always remember how bad / guilty you felt with the cheat.

I cheated, one month into the diet, it was on Christmas Day 2003. But I felt so disgusted with myself, I havent done it again since.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        Re: To All The Cheaters....

(raises Hand)! Yes I experienced temptation 5 days into induction Friday the 13th 2006(I knew I should've stayed home that day), anyway the day before someone vrought doughnuts to work I remained strong didn't touch one (used to would've eaten half the box and then the rest when no one was looking.
Anyway, there I am minding my own business when someone brings in ice cream cake, so I had a piece, I could feel the sugar coursing through my system, so quickly I went to Sonic and had a double cheeseburger with mayo (no bun). So I fight the sugar with fat.
I haven't had anything since simply becuase I knew it stalled my progress but there went my clean induction had to start back over on the 14th, 5 more days to go.
And no I was disapointed in the ice cream cake, it really didn't taste that good.
        So it wasn't worth it.
