    I'm Touched

    Wow, I have just been made to feel really special!

    As some of you may know already, I have just joined a new company I am now responsible for the sales and marketing for a training company. They all know here that I am following a low carb diet!

    Anyway next monday, there is a huge in house meeting. Including all of the internal staff and all of our consultants.

    They are supplying lunch, its all going to be baguettes and sandwiches. I have just been asked if I would like them to organise me some special food!? How nice of them. I said not to bother and that I would bring in my own usual salad. But I thanked them for the offer anyway!

    Thanks for reading! I wonder if there are any other companies out there that would be that considerate? I know my last one wasnt.

    Rich, I'm thrilled that you have an employer who appreciates and respects your way of life/eating. Too many times people we work with want us to change our routine to fit their menus (ie...as in the conference that I had last Sept when the menu was rudely changed when I underwent my operation)...anyways....YOU are special and I'm glad that they realize that!! Congratulations.

                I got the job originally based on my success with weight loss. I havent got that much experience in what they were looking for, but the CEO was so impressed with my dedication to losing weight that they can see that I will have the same dedication to succeeding in a new job!

                  How wonderful about your job -- them making you feel special and then recognizing your personal determination to transfer it to your career. It sounds like this is going to be a GREAT year for you!!

                          wow,if i were u,i was asking them to arrange some low carb food for me,i cant see everyone eating from companys money,and me boring salad..lol
