Hold down your left mouse button as you go over the words you want to copy. When they are highlighted, right clock on them and choose "copy." Then when you are posting, right click again and choose "paste." That should put what you last copied into your post.

go to the thread that you mean to 'quote' and copy the adress, then paste it into the thing you are writing, while in 'advanced' you can use the 'insert link' tag.
