    Hurrrrrray!

I've gotten a second job that includes a free gym membership with a major gym. I'm SO excited. Although I won't have much time for the gym, as I'll be working all the time, I'll still be able to fit in some classes and such.

This just gives me that much more motivation to get the weight off!

What do y'all do for excercise?

I walk daily and do yoga every other day. While I walk, I carry hand weights, so I can do upper body stuff during the walk (I like to save time!)

        Re: Working out

since you got a gym see what they have to offer and do what you like. some treadmill some cycle some row some do elipticles many lift. But you need to find something you like to do. Once you do join the 6WEC, the ADBB pres challenge, or the equipment you use challenge so you stay motivated.

            Re: Working out

Hi all, it is nice to see examples of the kind of exercises that different people are doing. I do the treadmill or eliptical machine for anywhere from 20 to 45 min. and on alternate days i do 3 exercise videos designed for specific parts of the body. I am not seeing the scale change much but my husband sees a difference and i feel great. I am on day 16 of induction and going strong. Good luck to all.

              Re: Working out

I do 2 miles on the treadmill 5 days a week (approx 30 minutes), weight train 3 days a week (approx 45 minutes), and abs 2 days a week (approx 20 minutes). You really do owe it to yourself to make time to use that gym membership. Water and exercise really are key to losing weight and shaping up. And the energy boost is SOOO worth it. You will be much more effective while you work!

My company pays for my membership, huge benefit. More and more companies are realizing the benefits of having healthy employees. I do weight training and cardio 5 days a week and whenever I can on weekends. It's completly addictive.

Walking for cardio 3 mornings a week for 20-30 minutes, and full-body resistance training for 1 hour/3 mornings per week. I'm also crazy about this 10-minute ab video, which I've been doing since November - also 3 mornings per week.

I do something a little different, but I find it fun and it's a great exercise! I do a one hour salsa dancing class 3 or 4 times a week.

I also use 2lb hand weights to tone up whenever I can fit it in, which I try to do most nights, even if it's just 10 or 20 minutes.
