PUMPKIN MIXED WITH CREAMCHESE was my favorite. salsa on eggs, hot wings, check our recipe data base here http://www.lowcarbrecipes.org/

exercise is mandatory. and Dr Atkins isn't talking about going to a gym you can walk for 30 min dance up temp for 30 min see easy stuff. you can park in the back of the lot and walk farther.
as to how long there is no way to know. I can tell you in just a few weeks you will be a healthier smaller version of yorself if you work your Atkins. you will shed fat mass and add laen body mass.

they tell me your book will arrive by Monday sorry i forgot to take your adress to the PO with me to mail it the other day grrrrr.

        Re: Questions on Predictions

I'm with 2Big. Exercise doesn't mean you have to go to a gym and work out on machines or you have to run 100 miles a day. The cheapest form of exercise is walking. Walk around the block. Walk up and down stairs for 15 minutes. Do you like to dance? If so, dance. That's exercise too.

While you're watching tv or waiting for your laundry to finish, you can do lunges, jumping jacks, windmills, arm curls, leg lifts, sit ups, push ups, etc.

I'm also a bit concerned about your weight goal. At 4'11, 107 pounds is in the "healthy" weight range. 90-93 pounds puts you in the "underweight" category. If your goal is to tone up your muscles, you can do that by exercise and by following the Atkins Maintenance.

I'm a big fan of Dance Dance Revolution. I play it with my friends or by myself every day. It's so much fun that you don't even realize 30 minutes have past.

24 hrs a day - yea... but then again more than half of it is school and sleep. with significantly less on sleep part. lol
              ah, sucks.

as for my goal weight, i have a really small frame-
and from some site, 90-93lbs was ideal.
              in n e case, i wanna b at most 95 - hope that happens o_O;

I work 14 hours a day, and I find time to exercise lol. Even if I squeeze 30 minutes in before work and 30 minutes after - thats an hour. I split my lunch hour in 2, spend one break eating my lunch, the other 30 minutes talking a fast paced walk. There are ways around it, you just have to be creative

TV watching and gabbing on the phone are two things you can exercise while doing. Do lunges (works the lower body), sit ups (works abs), push ups(works upper body), during the commercial breaks or during the program. Talking on the phone, you can do leg lifts, bicep curls, etc.

If you are in high school or college, you can exercise between classes by walking around campus, walking up and down stairs. When you've been sitting and studying for a while, get up and take a walk or jog in place. That will get your blood circulating (to your brain especially) and you'll give yourself a healthier energy boost than caffiene or nicotine.

There's time to exercise if you look for it and break out of that awful "I can only exercise if I go to the gym" mentality.

By the way, please look at other BMI calculators and see what range you fall into. You're 18. Humans don't stop growing and developing until their early 20s.

Turn on the stereo and dance around the house while you vacuum or wash dishes. This works well and makes you break a sweat also!!!

I was like you on the exercise thing...and I still am, on certain shifts (I work 3 shifts one a week) working on small ways to change it. At school if you drive park your car in the furthest spot and powerwalk there. If you need to go to the store, walk there, walk anywhere. dancing while doing house works a good one!! While on the computer or sitting to do school work sit on a excersize ball and actively sit. At5 lunch if you dont want to go out for a walk or anything then if u have to go to the washroom or anything take the longest way to the furthest one. If you have stairs go up stairs. There is so many ways to help you exercise when you cant. and when u have some time or have to read a book or anything read it on ur tredmill.
                        You can do it

I commute two hours a day, work 10 hours a day at an an intense demanding job, have two children under the age of 6, sleep 7.5 to 8 hours a night, and still exercise for AT LEAST an hour EVERY DAY. It can be done.

Put a set of weights next to the TV or phone, you can work your whole upper body while watching TV or talking on the phone. Also, put a pedometer on yourself one day, see how much walking you are doing on a normal day, you might be surprised, you might have to add just a little to get your 1200 steps a day!
