    Re: Atkins eating problem

is quite good advice, yesterday broke the diet as its a mates birthday and well i cant not go out get drunk and eat sushii and curry! today i will continue it the <strict> way though, i had ideas for a low carb chilli con carne. I know seasoning doesnt count but when you add a tablespoon of chilli powder maybe it does.

My best atkins meal so far was a chicken jalfrezi i made from scratch (without the rice of course).

    Cheers

Ian if your understanding of the "strict" way to do Atkins is to ignore the Rules, eat minimal vegetables, then you aren't doing Atkins. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Atkins is a low carb diet, not a no carb or less than 5 carb diet. If you choose to do it that way, then you're on your own. We cannot help you when you get into medically dangerous situations like dizziness and fainting spells, because we aren't medically trained nor are we versed enough in your diet to help.

Good luck to you. Take this piece of advice or leave it: see a doctor and/or a nutritionist to analyse your diet to see if you are getting the proper nutrients.
