I was just watching a show called Celebrity slimming, and the idea is that they take 'fat' people and these dieticians put them all on different diets to see who can lose the most weight in 8 weeks.
So they put this girl on Atkins so she could drop 3 dress sizes in 8 weeks, but that was it. They put her on it for 8 weeks, then it was over.
Did anyone else see it? She was basically told to just not eat bread, pasta, potatoes or sugar for 8 weeks and she wanted to lose like, 15lbs. She could lose it, but they definitely told her wrong because she didn't reach her goal in the 'time frame'.
Wouldn't it be nice if they'd actually researched this 'diet' before subjecting a guinea pig to it for the sake of a tv show?
