  • it's been 9 days!!!!!!

I'm new to this, however reading all the post seem to be really motivating and think it's going to help me along my journey.
    Well where to start......I'm 25 yrs, SW/193, CW187, height 5'7, female.
It's alot harder than I thought it would be. My goal is to weigh 160, which is about another 25 pounds in 8 weeks. I'm not sure this is possible, but i would love to hear on opinions to keep my focus. I haven't started working out yet, but after my 2 weeks i'm going to start 3 times a week.
I'm going on vacation so this is really important plus have a wedding to be in July. So I don't want to be that whale on the beach, or the fat girl in the wedding.
I need help and your motivation.
    Thanks for your time

    Hi Sam

AS you have probably realised from reading the posts here, whether you hit your goal of losing 25 pounds in 8 weeks is not going to be predictable, but if you stick to plan there is no reason you shouldnt make great inroads on that number of pounds to go by that time!!

Why not give yourself a more achievable goal instead - like 'I will stick to the allowed list for 2 weeks', or 'I will drink xxx ounces of water a day', or I will exercise for xx minutes x days a week' and so on.

These would be goals you have control over, rather than ones your own body chemistry decides, and therefore YOU will dictate whether you are successful in them.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Hints: If you can manage it, don't weigh every day. Sometimes the losses seem insignificant on a daily basis. Take it a day at a time, and be happy with small losses. I am back on and very serious about it. I try to just weigh once a week. I tend to average 4 or 5 pounds every two weeks. That's 8 to 10 pounds a month, which can add up pretty quickly. Just stick with it, drink lots of water, and exercise. Don't over-eat; just eat until you're satisfied. I find that it helps if I have a cut-off time for eating at night at 6:30. I just have water after that. Also, you will find you're losing inches, even if the scale doesn't budge. Measure yourself/take pictures and enjoy them as proof of success down the road!
      Good luck!
