    Today marks week # 5

I am Jeff...A 38 year old small business owner in Summerville,SC.
Today marks the end of week # 5 on Atkins........Other than the occasional sugar craving I am feeling great.

I am 5'11 and my starting weight was 268 pounds with a 40" waist... most people never believed that I weighed that much because I always carried it very well.

My weight as of this morning is 249 and waist is down to a 38.

My long term goal is 180 pounds and 30" waist.

Short term goal is 215 pounds and 34" waist by the end of May.

    Wish me Luck

    Jeff

You're off to a great start Jeff! We're similar here, and I just finished week 6. Started at 250, now 221. Started 40" waist too, wearing loose 38's now. Gonna go get some 36''s soon! You've gotta admit this WOE is great!

    Good luck to you!

Original goal: Lose 30 lbs by Mar. 1st, 2006. I made it!!!

Calling it GOAL at this point. I'm happy with where I am now and hope to stay there, or maybe even take it down a little more.

HI! We are from the same state...I am in Lugoff SC....Congratulations on your progress - you are doing great! I just weighed this morning (about as far along as you in weeks) and found that I had whooshed. Isn't it wonderful!

I measure next week and I can't wait!

        Keep up the great work!

Keep that tape measure handy, cause when the scale isn't showing a weight loss, the tape measure will! Good Luck!

That's going OK, I reckon. 1/3 (almost) in 8 weeks is pretty good. I am at just over 1/3 and it is 26 weeks (but I lost most of it in the first 12 weeks, very slow now!).
