  • YAY (and a bummer)!!!

    Here's the "YAY!!":

I received a huge shipment of new stuff from Old Navy in the mail on Friday. I had taken a chance and ordered (for the first time EVER) a bunch of tops in size XL, instead of XXL. I was really nervous about doing that, especially since returning things that don't fit is a HUGE pain from over here. But, I also figured if they were just a tad too small, I would hang on to them anyway. Anyway, ALL THE SIZE XL TOPS WERE TOO BIG!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

    Now the "bummer":
Returning/exchanging things from over here is a HUGE pain and with mailing it there and waiting for them to mail the new SIZE LARGE stuff over here, it will probably be a month or more before I get my new clothes back in the right size.

    But (back to the "Yay!!"):
I never, ever, ever, EVER thought I would be wearing a size LARGE top from Old Navy. I'm so excited!!

woo hoo for you. Sailing past clothes goals is both a great feling and a bummer if you already bought them. Glad you can exchange yours.

Attention Swimmom! You can return your stuff to the Old Navy store if you have one near you, and just re-order the sizes you need from the online shop. The local store will give you a credit on your credit card right away, and then you don't have to wait for the returned items to be shipped back. Speeds things up tremendously.
