Gosh you are gorgeous. Makes me feel like there's hope for me too. And who's the hottie in the picture with you? Your DH? He looks a bit like Tom Cruise. You look like a movie star couple. Thanks for inspiring us with your beauty.
Thank you for posting. Your before pic is what I look like right now. I hope that my after looks as good as yours does!! You're beautiful, and you look so happy.
Congratulations!

I second all those comments, Fawn. You are truly lovely in your 'new you'. Hope I look half as good.
To all the others afraid to post a picture, make sure you take some. I'm doing a once a month at least, on my start date (10th). Comparing them really shows me how I'm going.

Oh my goodness! You are all so generous with your compliments! Thank you Thank you! Thank you as well for the DH compliments. I can truly say that he has been so patient with me. He is a low carber too. My biggest fan.....my biggest supporter and my best listener. People at work even tell on him when he eats something "off plan"
You see, he gets all "hopped up" on sugar now so it's easy to determine when he's been bad! I do love my DH. We're a "team" in life.
I may hide this thread......Betty shrunk the pictures for me but she won't be able to help his swolen head!
To answer the "how long" question........
It has taken me a bit longer to reach goal than most. I'm very resistant to losing weight and can gain at the drop of a hat. I have been maintaining and slowly sculpting the last 4 years. When I look back, I know now that I should have lowered my calories. I ate fat freely. I did not gain but I did not lose as quickly either. I was a night time snacker as well and have had to learn to curb that one! I have also learned that in order to sculpt your body (I'm looking for no jiggle at all here) you must work out very diligently and aggressively.
Thank you again for your compliments. I have worked very hard to get where I am and I do feel 20 years old again.
Make it a happy low carb life!
