    Where is the marathon this year Betty? Is it down Bayshore? (Tampa Native here)

        Yes, its down Bayshore, but first .. we start at Brorein & Florida .. go all the way around Davis Islands ... then back to downtown .. then past the performing arts center.. then to the University of Tampa .. then back to Ashley .. then all the way down Bayshore to south of Ballast Point ... turn around and all the way back to the north end of Bayshore to the base of the Platt Street bridge ...



        You were thinking, I can do this! And, you were right!

                Yes, you can do it!!! Just think how proud you will be, how far you have come already!!! I can't wait to hear all about it after you do it!!! You know, sometimes we all have to get a little crazy!!!!!

                      Its basically flat, except for a couple of drawbridges ... Actually, Tampa is nearly ALL flat .. which is why its a great running city.

                              You can totally do this!

                              When I was working at Disney World during the Disney marathon, they had us characters stationed all around the route and we all took pictures with and congratulated the winners (which was pretty much everyone because, well, it's Disney.) I was talking to one of the winners and he said he just thought of marathons as a bunch of little 1/2 mile races at a time. I think that was a really cool philosophy.

                              You've been working really hard twords this goal and I have faith that you can do it.











                              First mini-goal: Lose 10 lbs- buy new graphite set--Woot!
                              Second Mini-goal: Lose 15 pounds- get a new book
                              Big mini-goal: See my collarbones- Priceless!
