    does anyone know if it's bad to be on atkins whille breastfeeding? i started my atkins diet today...i'm determined to loose my pregnancy weight by summmer. but i'm breastfeeding. i'm thinking about when i go in to ketosis i guess...can ketones get in to breastmilk? will that be bad for my little guy? any one know?

    duh...i see now there is a whole section about this and that i can't do induction...must go straight to the maintenance form. oh well

      Congrats on your little bundle!

      If he holds his nose when he's feeding...I think that would be a sign that you should wait a while before starting Induction.

      Honestly, I don't have any idea if ketones will harm him. Perhaps post this in the Pregnancy forum.
