  • Thanks to LC_Dave the cheeseless man

When you made that challenge I just said phoey I'd never be able to quit cheese. I haven't been able to get the scale to move for awhile and I thought about your challenge. So I decided Monday to NOT eat cheese. I figured maybe that was the reason. I've lost 4 pounds since Monday!!

Thanks LC_Dave! for your challenge because I may never have thought that cheese could have been slowing me down.

    That's GREAT!! Congratulations!

I, too, am convinced that cheese is a MAJOR stall factor.

Oh, I love cheese!! Thanks for the tip, if I hit a stall or see any problems I will try to cut out cheese. I do stay at 3 oz. a day, but I could eat a pound more if it was allowed!
What would we do without it?

Since I have joined this board, I have pretty much given up cheese sticks or shredded cheese on my veggies, but ya'll have got me hooked on the cream cheese now. Between the whoosie pie and the eggs and creamcheese, I am taking in at least 2 -4 ounces a day.

Hmm, this is the first that I'm hearing about cheese possibly causing stalls. (I haven't been on the board much lately). Is this true? I don't eat a LOT of cheese, but probably an ounce a day or so.

Y'know - I've been very suspicious of this - but it is such a significant "variety" in my diet that I never did anything about it.

                              http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...824#post384824

As I posted in the Cheese-aholic abstinence challenge, some dodgey stuff happens to milk when it is pasturized and homogenised. So this causes intollerance in people. Intollerance builds over time.

I think this can cause addictive behaviour when combined with the milk opoids!
