  • Best Time for Measurements?

I always forget to do my measurements (can't say I've done them in over a month) and don't usually remember at least until after I've eaten/drank something in the morning or even the evening.

I know the best time to weigh is in the morning due to general fluctuations, but is there a best time to measure? Will I get wider as the day goes on?

I doubt you will get "wider" unless you're eating off plan!! Best time for me has always been first thing in the morning ..

I honestly don't know if it makes a difference. I measure myself about once a month and the time varies. Interesting question though.

All I know is that you should not measure within 12 hours of strenuous exercise, as the muscles will get bigger and increase your measurements. The same is true for measuring body fat.

I would think the morning before eating/drinking would be the best

Thanks lawyerchick, that's what I was wondering that maybe muscles get swollen just by regular daily activities. Thanks all!
