Okies... today was my first day on the Atkins Diet and have to say, the weekly trip to the supermarket was torture! But all in all, I do think I will find it easy counting carbs.
Over the weekend, I have heard various horror stories from well meaning friends and relatives from 'the only weight you loose is water' to 'you're gonna loose lean tissue too, then you're gonna put weight on anyway'
Please dispel these myths ppl, Im so excited after reading some of your success stories and ideally, I would like to lose at least 4 stones (64lb) in 3 months, but this is probably unrealistic
Also, can one also safely count calories (around 1500 per day) whilst counting carbs?
I know thats a lot of questions, but I would be really grateful if you could answer them!
