My 11yr old likes the "Jicama-Mock oatmeal". Its a great way to get their veggies in too.

I'd make sure you have your Dr. involved if you are changing an 11 yr olds WOE in order to lose weight. I would think it would be best to be medically supervised. An 11 yr old has far more nutritional needs than an adult.

Are your children eating induction choices only or more of a maintenance menu?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

What about kippers? They are breakfast food and very good for you too...

              what is a kipper?

the kids are more on the "skip the breads, potatoes, and pasta"

they are meat eaters anyway.........but there was usually mashed potatoes or mac-n- cheese and a slice of buttered bread for dinner......that has been replaced with the salad: breadfast cereals have been replaced with eggs for Emi, and whatever looks tempting for Erick.....

this also got them interested in taking their vitamins.......no more forcing the subject

i've been worried for awhile that Emi had a food allergy, and this is a good way to find out what foods hinder and what foods don't........she is a really hyper kid.....and I don't want her on ADHD medicine......so far she has calmed down a lot!! so I will be adding foods back in one at a time to see what works and what doesn't

A kipper (kippering) is herring or salmon that has been split, salted, and smoked.
