    Bad day today.

    I went 6g over in carbs because I was sure I knew how many carbs in an onion!

    GGrrrrrrrr

    Makes me so angry....I've been so careful lately too...

    Now its nothing but green tea for me for the rest of the evening...

    *hugz* sometimes we make mistakes but next time you wilkl know. most times i plug everything into fitday early morning that way i can make sure I am good and at ther end i modify it to what i ate vrs what i wanted to. u will soon have it to a science.

      If 6g over is your biggest problem, then I think you will do just fine.

        Eating an onion is the least "bad" thing you could have done. Eat a sensible meal for dinner---protein and fat.

            Yeah..ysee I had a plate of roasted wings for dinner but got lazy and couldnt be bothered to sort out a salad...

            So.... yeah you guessed it..I threw an onion in the oven to go with the wings...

            I guess thats what happens when you count your carbs before your chicken is roasted!

            hahahah....Oh well I thought it was witty anyhow.

              We are all here to learn John
              and making mistakes is the best way
              when you have some spare time just enter all the veggies you like on fitday and write down their carbs.....it did work for me

                isn't it amazing how many carbs are in things we don't even think about and why the I don't count carbs/measure folk have issues losing and carvain. I hope your onion doesn't cause you any cravings.

                roasted onion sounds good never thought about having that with the wings. thanks.

                  Each day is a new day, and a year from now you won't even give a thought to those 6 carbs. Tommorrow you will do great!

                    Tonight has been fine.. watched a video, did some weights to burn those extra carbs off then had a snack of smoked salmon and cheese to make sure no cravings appeared.

                    I also recounted my carbs and came up 3 g over...still 3 over but better than 6 over.

                    Looks like I made it through today and tommorows another day

                      3 over (or even 6 over!) from time to time is okay - particularly if it comes from non-starchy vegetables. You're doing great!

                        John, it's an onion. Don't freak out about it. At least you've been good little boy - it wasn't chocolate or frankenfoods!

                        We are all doing this one day at a time, and tomorrow is a brand new day!

                        And yes, folks, roasted onions are DELICIOUS, YUMMY, SCRUMPTIOUS - and they have a serious rear wind effect on me the next day, so beware!
