    not neccessarily, if you're eating to much legal stuff that still can stall you...

      It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        all Dr Atkins defined ketosis ( the burning of fats for fuel) means is you are using either dietary and/or body storage fats for fuel. you can over eat your Atkins and not exercise and gain large amounts being dark purple on the stix. just eat 20 boxes of butter and lay in bed all day and you can see for yourself it you have any doubts about this effect. The third law of thermodymanics still applies fuel in must be less then fuel expended from all sources. Atkins eating expends more fuel converting the food to fuel then the high carb eatting does you you can lose weight eating slightly more fuel on Atkins then you did on your high carb plan but you still have to take in less then you burn off.

        This is why we tell everybody it is very important to learn your hunger and feed only that each time you eat even if you got food on the plate carbs in your budget and/or room in your bekky. Listen to your body.

        And remember scale weight does not tell you how your body is morphing on your Atkins. we are shedding fat mass adding muscl4e mass and fluids are in a state of constant flutuation so you can a pound of shed fat add a pound of fluid and/or nuscle and the scale wil say no change. Make friends with your tape measure so it can validate your hard work on your Atkins plan when the scale says no change.
