    Re: Whip Cream

You are allowed whipped cream just no sugar. Many like it with no sweetner or you can add splenda. You also can get it whipped with spenda in a can.

      Re: Whip Cream

Posting in the Induction forum will probably get you more replies. <hint>

Heavy cream (that you whip) is allowed - a few ounces per day. Not the stuff in the can.

You just have to get good at reading labels of any foods you buy. If there is something not on the food list for your level of Atkins, don't eat it.

Great point Isabeau. Do not trust the manufacturers. They are all out to make money and their idea of low carb may be very different than yours. Don't just read the nutrition labels but the ingredients as well.

              Re: Whip Cream

There's only one brand of canned whipped cream that is Atkins "legal" because it's sweetened with Splenda. But even if it is a legal food, most foods on this diet have daily limits.

If you are unfamiliar with what is and isn't allowed. Click on the FAQ button on the navigation bar at the top of this page. There is a thread there called "What can I eat during Induction".
