colby, monteray jack, swiss, smoked gouda, creamcheese, american, co-jack, parmesan, mozzarella, asiago, laughing cow onion, queso panela. I refuse to eat any blue cheese.

My favorite... thats tough. I have an addiction to the queso panella so I dont buy it often. Co-Jack I love to eat at night fo rmy 'dessert". Smoked gouda is perfect for savoring. Asiago is great for a strong flavor when cooking.

Hmmmm, I love cheese!!! I have string cheese, colbyjack, american, parmesian, new york cheddar, and cream cheese. I think my favorite is Brie (which I don't have). I love it at room temp with fruit. It will be a nice treat when I get to the berry rung.
What would we do without it?

oh it must only be available in the UK. It is similar to cheddar - texture-wise, a little darker red and a bit stronger than a mild cheddar.

I've made myself feel like some now

                        Re: Cheeses challenge

cream, mozzarella, two kinds of cheddar, parmesan, string cheese. There's also some flavoured cream cheese that dh brought home but I don't eat that (blueberry flavour). My favourite is old cheddar. In the summer we visit the "cheese man" at the flea market (can't wait!) and we get all kinds of yummy stuff - swiss, smoked gruyere, gouda, edam. monterey jack....Lots of cheese eating goes on in the summer. lol That red leceister (sp?) sounds great. I've never seen it here though.

I thought I was a loon with 8 different types in my fridge at once...

But I see someone loves cheese so much they currently have 12 different types in their fridge!

                          Wow!
