    Well instead of working I've been playing around again this evening and came up with a BMR calorie calculator .

      Don't forget its the minimum amount of calories needed...you can probably eat more than that and not gain...

              wow, mine was 3380 to maintain! i wouldn't think im eating that much in a day, but then i don't keep track either. I'm still losing, somewhat slow but im in owl now.

                Wow! Mine was 1991. I can stay under that, no problem!! The only question I had, what about how tall you are? Does that have anything to do with it?
                What would we do without it?

                  Nah I just used basic maths formulae flying around online...really you get so many calories per pound that are then messed about according to age etc.

                  For a full scientific breakdown I think only the guys in the white lab coats can be useful.

                  I find it a nice rough guide tho....and dont you guys dare try eating over 3000 cal per day! That would apply to someone NOT on a diet...

                  Dont forget...our metabolisms on a diet get whacked sideways and backwards...
