On induction you cannot have milk but you can use cream instead. some people thin the cream down with a little water to make it the same consistency as milk.
Once you move onto the OWL rung of Atkins you can experiment to see if milk affects you by giving you blood sugar problems or cravings.
Any sort of gum will have sweeteners and so one piece of those should be counted as one carb - only 3 sweeteners maximum per day! Also we are supposed only to use certain sweeteners - which are listed in the allowed list of food for induction.
I have read that regardless of the sweeteners in gum it is better not to use it because it makes our bodies expect food in the stomach when we chew!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
I use gum NOT to eat.......I have a need to always have something in my mouth.....if not gum then I am inserting something. Trident has only a half carb per piece.

Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles.... A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself. An unexpected phone call from an old friend. Green stoplights on your way to work. The fastest line at the grocery store. A good sing-along song on the radio. Your keys right where you left them.
