plug you foods in to an online nutritional program and see where your food choices put you. add in your multi too. Dr Atkins assumes many of us are deficient because of yrs of poor eating habits so he mass prescribes vits minerals and supplements as he states in DANDR just to get folk back up in the normal ofr the body range quickly.
Your doc can help you out too with a simple blood test. According to my doc i was slightly deficient in potassium when I started based on my blood work so i got prescribed 3 OTC potassium pills when I was an OWLer i only needed 2 and as a goalie I don't need any others. I take my multiVP with minerals and my calcuim and that is it now.by the book atkinseer

Well as I said before, the chromium helps your blood sugar levels. Some people also believe it helps curb cravings, so that's another plus.
Calcium .. your bones need it!
Magnesium works in conjunction with the potassium and calcium to aid absorption.
Green Tea Extract has a metabolism-raising effect.
The VITS are all necessary for everyone.
CoQ10 provides great protection for your heart, and its one vitamin that your body does not get from food or produce on its own.
Fish Oil (Omega 3s) are very heart healthy and will regulate your cholesterol.
All in all, you can't go wrong with these! I get mine at Walmart.

The basic ones are multivitamin and essential oils (omega 3-6), if you dont have any other problem
