  • Another Pro-Exercise Thread

I am a witness first hand to the effects of lack of exercise / doing exercise. I've been kind of down for the past week or so, and this weekend (Thursday and Friday) was no exception, plus having a very bad cold come and hit me as well. I felt frustrated, and anxious all weekend. My husband made a comment that he is noticing how warm I am at night time when I'm sleeping, and during the day yesterday I was still grumpy, etc. and even tried to go out by myself with no kids or hubby and it still did not do anything! It's also warmed up here a bit too, getting ready for the long and hot/ humid Gulf summers which last 6 months. I was noticing that the area around my midsection (where I have the most fat deposits) was actualy warmer than the rest of me.

Anyways, after dinner last night I got stubborn and said I have to get back to my exercise routine, enough is enough. I jumped on my eclyptical and did 15 minutes and then 5 minutes of cooling down and stretching. Would you believe that hte warm parts of my body cooled right down and my mood completely changed!!!!

Exercise is mandatory for me. It scares me to think of the heat that can get trapped in the fat cells on my body especially in the climate that I live in. It is scary. I'm thinking of exercising in the morning AND in the evenings right after I get home from work. I have to release the heat trapped in my body as well as get my heart rate up to burn fat.

    Thanks for listening!!
