  • Still stuck, but I think I know why!

    Ok, I am still at 165 and have been for two weeks. I took a hard look at what I have been doing. I have been watching what I eat, carbs, calories, everything except for those STUPID pork rinds!! That has to be it, they are the only different food that I have eaten regulary since this 'scale stall'. I threw them in the trash this morning, and I shall buy no more!! I never ate those things before this WOL, I just loved the crunchy snacky feeling it gave me. I never thought that they could cause a stall, but I am 99% sure that they are the problem. I don't really think this is a 'stall', because my clothes fit better and I feel great. I will just have a healthy snack from now on, but half the time I wanted those darn things and I wasn't even hungry. Maybe it is a trigger food for me??
    What would we do without it?

    be patient and look at the entire picture of how much you have lost in how much time ...honey from what it looks like you have lost 14lbs in a month? That is a lot of weight....try to see the big picture...it is a brilliant one in my opinion

      yep if you think they're causing you grief it's just better to throw them out. I have the same problem with bacon and nuts. its hard to eat just one and before you know it have the container is gone! I'm backing off them again for awhile and sticking to more induction type eating. Congrats on your 14lbs! Heidi is right, it is something to be proud of!

        It could be those pork rinds. Maybe the salt on them. Also, you have to watch the serving size. I know the one's that I buy once in a while the serving size is 5 pieces. See how you make out without em!

          Everytime I eat pork rinds I gain weight... Then it's hard to lose it. So I to have decided to stop eating them.

            you do know stalls are 4 weeks with no weight loss and no inches lost? You are in a hesitation period and should see the scales and the inches moving again real soon

              I am sorry everyone!! I don't think I was very clear, my bad!! Heidi, I totally agree with you, I am so happy with the way this month has gone. I feel great, so healthy!! I guess my real point was that I think the pork rinds are a problem for me, so I tossed them in the trash!! I know I am not in a stall, because I am losing inches. Thanks everyone for the support!! I love ADBB!!!

                Oh man, I love pork rinds but boy oh boy do they slow down the process for me. I am sure it is the sodium, I had to give mine to my dogs.
