Sirine, I love them, and eat them a few times a week. What part of Canada do you live in ? If you are near Toronto, I can give you some ideas.

Sorry Sirine, I can't tell you of a place specifically. Go to a large Asian market (I know that they have quite a few in Vancouver) and look for them in the refridgerator case. They always come packed in liquid, that should be rinsed very well. In Canada you can order them from the www.lowcarbgrocery.com store online, and he will ship for free if your order is over $100. He has different types, and a good selection of DaVinci syrups.

            Hope this helps.

Yes, try an Oriental grocery. They were in a Japanese Grocery in Victoria, as well as in China Town. Now that I live across the country, they are harder to come by (haven't seen the "tofu" ones; just the konjak (sp?) ones)

I eat them all the time! (See photo below.) They're probably my favorite throw-together snack lately, and remind me of my pre-Atkins days of pasta. I douse a large bag of them in extra-virgin olive oil, some garlic, and a quarter cup of grated Parmesan. They're lovely.
