The cream is going to give you more carbs and calories. I know we're not supposed to count calories, but when I've seen how much else I can eat if I leave out the cream I said buh-bye cream. I will use it for special days with special treats.
Berries are only allowed on OWL and onwards.

which is why is discussed moving on to owl. Why eat fake foods that are sweet on induction when there's healthy sweet eating to be had in owl.

Sorry, I am guilty of speed reading and missed that you were discussing OWL. My fault.

        Carry on

No problem. I think if I hadn't moved on to owl I would be eating every low carb candy and bar in sight. At the end of the original two weeks of induction I would have puked if I added another veggie to my diet (I must admit I did have one big, juicy strawberry right in the middle of that induction).

You have to follow the order of OWL, just just jump around to be able to eat what you want. Also, just because a package says one carb candy, that isn't always the case. Its best to follow this way of life as the good Dr. A intended us to. Its very important to start with a clean Induction, and MOVE UP the rungs of OWL.
What would we do without it?

The order of owl is SUGGESTED according to my book. If I had to add more veg after induction I would have quit immediately and never looked back.
