    Maybe this belongs in the health forum, if it does I apologize, but I think it may pertain to general thought.

    I just read in my new Men's Health magazine that studies show that people who take 500mg of Vitamin C per day burn 39% more fat while they exercise. Of course with us being on a Atkins way of life we can't have oj, but I have been taking Vitaminc C pills for my immune system anyway.

    Who needs the OJ!? You can get good amounts of Vitamin C from Red/Green peppers, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cabbage and Brussel Sprouts (yuck).... Red peppers alone have 95mg per 1/2 cup. Of course who wants to eat red peppers every single day.. not me.. haha

      Yeah to get 500mg just from peppers would take a lot of effort.

          Yep, I will have to reread the article, but I believe the study included both male and females.

            Eat those peppers! The capsaicin in them cleans cholesterol from your blood vessels. Very good for you.
