  • Post-Exercise Belly Blah?

I just took a 50 minute walk during my lunch break and felt fantastic. However, now, about 2 hours later, I have a severe case of the belly blahs. I feel vaguely nauseated, almost flu-ish. Could I be sweating out toxins? Has anyone else had this experience?

    Help?!?!

    Big love,

Did you eat anything? Before or after? Sometimes if you're running out of FUEL, you can feel nauseated after exercise.

    Hope you're OK!

Sorry, I can't say that I have had that happen. I do get a weird feeling in my legs though. It gets all tingly. Is that a word. LOL

I have experienced that and I've found it usually happens when I've not taken in enough water. Slowly sipping water afterwards always seems to take care of it pretty quick, atleast for me.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I think I may have eaten too soon BEFORE I went for the walk. Hmmm. I'm drinking buckets of water, so I don't think that's the problem. I think I will have to leave more time between eating and walking -- and that's just fine!

By the way, Betty, I love the new picture. The periwinkle/purple is one of my all-time favorite colors! You are such an inspiration!

          Thanks to all!

Nausea is also an indicator that you're overdoing it - pushing yourself too hard or doing too much. If the things already mentioned don't make it better, I'd try taking the intensity down a notch and see if that doesn't do the trick.

Thanks Brook! I actually think you might be right - I did go from 0 to 60 on the exercise scale! I'll take it down a bit and work my way back up.

                  Thanks to all!
