  • 4 Weddings and an Atkid

    Hi ya'll. I have 4 weddings coming up in the next few months. April 22, May 13, May 28, and August 24. It would be so nice to be at least 5 pounds lighter than each of the previous weddings. So far I have been back on Induction since the end of January and have only lost 11 pounds. Is it feasible for me to think I could drop 5 between each occasion or am I just pipe dreaming?

    I think you could easily do it if you put your mind to it.

    Make sure you're drinking your water, make sure you're getting enough fat (helps the weight to shed off) and follow it to the letter!

      I agree, 5lbs between each of those dates is very obtainable and I thnk you should go for it.

      It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        don't for get the mandatory exercise part of your Atkins.

        while you may not shed the sclae weight you will be a healtheir smaller you at each succeeding weddding as you morph your body shedding fat mass and adding lean mass.

          Thank you all for responding. It has made me hopeful that maybe I CAN do this.
          Unfortunately I have not started my mandatory exercise as my gym was heavily flooded during Katrina and you know when you are going 5-6 days a week and that cycle is broken I just not have been able to get back in routine. It is actually since the hurricane that I have gained back 23 lbs. Monday I am definately gonna get over to the gym and try to get back in routine. Ya'll are such an inspiration with all these exercise challenges going. I for one don't know how any of you can stay on that dang ball to do pushups. I can barely just sit on it without falling off. Sorry about ranting.
