Just noticed (this morning) that Boots the Chemist is now selling Splenda. Its with all of the diabetic / low carb foods.

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Only liquid sweetener available in UK is Hermesetas which is saccharin based.Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',

Hermesetas Liquid is saccharin and is permitted on Atkins. Some Hermesetas products are not permitted.

You have to order Hermesetas Liquid from an independent Chemist. It takes a couple of days. Boots does not stock it.
You are right - it has zero carb overhead.
Splenda Tablets have less carbs than the granular form - use them when you can - sometimes it is possble to dissolve the tablets in a little water before use. Each tablet equalls one teaspoon of sugar. It's different in USA.

I even got some splenda tablets from Somerfields last week - at £1.55/100 much cheaper that at Waitrose.
Still darned expensive though!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

When I was in England last summer, I picked up the Splenda tabs in a store called Booths in Kendal. Then I saw them in Boots in Weymouth and picked up another 3 to take home. They are wonderful for keeping in your purse. I wish that they had them here in Canada. I also think that they taste better than the Splenda packets of powder. I saw in some restaurants in England they would have packets of 2 Splenda tablets.Binsk

Oh - I forgot to mention that most of the 'Little Chef' restaurants have the packs of splenda too!
And, guess what - when we have eaten there they always have to refill their dish of sugar/sweetener packets on our table with them as a few seem to migrate into my pockets!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Another sneaky thing I do at a Little Chef is order a mug of hot water to put my herbal teabag in! I used to order their lemon tea but it has been taken off the menu and they only have ordinary tea which I dont like!
