  • Ok, today is day 28; where do I go now??

Hi All, I have been going through one really successful trip this time. I started on March 1st, stayed on induction for 2 wks and went onto rung one of the next level. That means that every other day, I upped my carbs. My pee sticks are still nicely changing!! I don't know what I've lost; I've been ignoring that this time because of the antidepressants I'm on. However, I'm into a smaller size with my bluejeans, and that makes me very very releaved. I'm just not sure what to do for my next step. Maybe I should try 25 gs of carbs every day for a week and see what happens? My main test are my pee sticks. However, I think I heard somewhere that if you are on maintenance, they may not change. Any advice where I should go next? Thx for any advice. Cheers, Castoridae.

Atkins is 4 phase diet plan. The first weight loss phase is Induction. The second is On-Going Weight Loss (OWL) Phase. So my advice is to start re-reading the chapters in the book about the On-Going Weight Loss phase.

Hi Meg, I know that. The point is that I really got a lot of help reading thru posts on this board and was hoping that someone may have some tried and true ideas. Cheers, C

Oh, please come to OWL!! Its great!! I started Rung 2 this week. I have still lost on OWL, and I love the extra food choices. Its great!! Just watch out for food that causes cravings, I can't eat cucumbers or mushrooms. Not a huge deal, but its nice to know. That is the beauty of OWL!! You really learn what foods you can and can't eat.
What would we do without it?

        Mini-goal- 149 by June 1st. I can do it!!!

Started this WOL on Feb. 13, 2006.

OWL Rung 3- Seeds and Nuts

Frankenfoods- Low Carb Shakes, Bars, Candies.
Sugar Alcohols= Weight loss stalls and cravings!!
        These are BAD for us!!!!

As sunflowergrl said, OWL is great fun so go to the OWL forum and read the stickies and recent posts there to get some great advice on how to start.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
