Didn't even notice I was gone, did you, you dozey lot!
I'm back after a 10 day absence - I had a very bad skid in the rain and went over a 12' embankment. It was a little hair raising, and I had to ring 000 (our 911) to come and extract me.
Luckily I only had a dislocated left thumb, some heavy bruising to my left thigh (which ended up with the dashboard and steering wheel - upside down - resting on it), and cuts to my right hand and ear, and some other bruises in strange and diverse places.
I'm recovering and today is my first day back at work but poor little Gertie (my car) is no more. Residing at the wrecker until the insurance people assess it. The process is a bit slow due to the big log of claims from the recent cyclones here.
Unfortunately, with the flu the week before and no gym for over 3 weeks now, I gained back 2 kg! But I've started walking 5 kms every morning and 1/2 kg is already gone. I won't be back to weight training for about another 3 weeks though, and I can't get to the gym with no car!

You rest up and take care of yourself!
