  • ready for take off

    Hi,

thanks to all for all the encouragement and good advice!
I want to start as soon as possible so I can't change my mind

But could you maybe let me know if the menu I have in mind for the first day is ok? If not , I can still run to the store tonight to pick up whatever I need.

breakfast : 2 or three eggs , fried in butter
lunch : salad (lettuce , tomato , cucumber and red pepper) with tuna (canned in olive oil) , mayonaise
dinner : pork chops with broccoli
    snack on homemade meatballs

    Is this about right?

    Thanks so much!

    Re: ready for take off

Seems good to me Elke! Add some exercise and plenty of water and you'll be off to a running start. Remember, it's always good to spread the carbs out over the day, to avoid blood sugar spikes... including at breakfast. Good luck!

I agree, looks good. Just make sure to measure those veggies as per the rules of induction and both tomatoes and brocolli are a one cup veggie. Looks like you're gonna be off to a great start.
