  • Would this be okay?

    I have some reeses peanut butter cups, and they say 8g of carbs for one. Could you eat this on introduction, to add for your 20 carbs?

    Why would you want to add 8 grams of carbs for one piece of candy, when you could and should be having healthy carbs in those 8 grams. This is definately not allowed in induction.

      No. If it's not on the Induction foods list, don't eat it. The purpose of Induction is to rid your body of sugar.

      If you haven't yet, please read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution from front to back. Then you will understand why sugar is the devil.

        No way, no how. Only foods from the acceptable food list. It's not just about carb numbers, it's about the foods we eat. If you haven't already, get yourself a copy of the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution!

          Okay, thank you! I didn't know for sure, and no I haven't got the book. I will probably buy it when I get my allowance (I'm only 15!). Thank you cause I was craving some chocolate, but good thing I didn't eat it!

            Good for you! It's always okay to ask questions. Check out the teen forum we have too. Does your doctor know you're starting a diet?

                  do you have a way to get to a thrift store like Goodwill or a used book store like half priced books...I have found Atkins books cheap like 50 cents there all the time...just for when you have the money to get the book Just make sure you get the right edition 2002
