  • First day!

    And I'm doing fine!!!

    I know the day is not over yet , but I'm past my CCM (critical candy moment )

    It is very strange though , in the past it has been so hard for me to do the low carb thing and today I'm having no cravings or hunger pangs , everything is going just fine. Today low carb seems to be the natural thing to do!
    I did make sure to have the foods that I enjoy most :
    breakfast was a two egg omelette with half a cup mushrooms , for lunch I had one and a half cup of salad veggies with tuna (canned in olive oil) and mayonaise and for dinner I plan one cup of broccoli and pork chops. I brought a few hard boiled eggs to work and had one of those mid-morning.

    I'm gonna ask my boyfriend to upload a pic of me tonight , so you guys can finally add a face to my name!

    Sounds like you have made a fantastic start Elke. Your choice of foods are good. Out of interest, how much water have you drunk?

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      I brought a big bottle of water to work with me , so by the end of the day I'll have drunk 2 liters. This was allready something I was used to doing anyway.

          Hey,


          I don't really know how much weight I want to lose , to be honest. I'm not really big (US size 4-6) , but I recently discovered that allthough my weight and BMI are ok , I have a rather high fat percentage : 35.5% So that's my main goal , reduce my fat content . I had surgery two months ago and three days ago my doctor gave me her ok to start working out again so I've been running for three days now (slowly building it up!!) and yesterday I took my first pilates class in two months.

          I guess I just want to reach a weight were I'm healthy and look good , I don't really care much about the number (don't even own a scale)
