Well since I'm heading to Mexico in May I decided to try a 'glow' lotion since I have been working hard to protect my skin from the sun since hitting middle age. Glowing like a giant white whale is not what I want to do on this vacation. I bought Jergen's Natural Glow and I have to give it an excellent review! I tried it on one arm yesterday multiple times through out the day and I have a very natural looking 'tan' on that arm. I'm now working on the rest of my body. I tried the body lotion on my face and it does look less pudgy with a tan so I bought the face lotion today. I thought both men and women might like this for summer. But I did see my hairdresser today and she said a friend of hers had an allergic reaction so be carefull if you try one of these lotions. Has anyone else tried this or a comparable one of another brand? If so, did you find another face lotion in a different brand? Oh, and I also fit into a leather jacket that's been sitting in my closet as a treat!

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
I actually have tried both Jergens and Olay Quench and much prefer the smell of the Olay (though it's a bit more pricey). I don't like the way the jergens smells, the olay is a much fresher smell. It also comes for normal skin and dry. I like them because they're not really like self tanners, they're much more subtle, just giving you a little colour rather than alot.Jen, 39, F

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
I just posted about this in the Tanning thread. I really like the smell of the Jergins, but then again, I haven't smelled the Olay.Female, 21, 5'6"

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
Thank you for this post! I have been thinking about trying that stuff, I am so white! I never tan, I am too worried about wrinkles. I was not blessed with skin that tans well, and I have dark hair.
What would we do without it?

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
Thanks for the reviews on the other glow lotions. Once this tube is gone I will be trying the others to see what I like best. I haven't gotten orange from the Jergins, but I suppose it just depends on the skin it's applied to. Do you think people with very pale skin get orange more than people that tan easily? Or does it just depend on the lotion?

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
Oh, just a heads up--I have quite a few strech marks on my upper arms (I'm FURIOUS about them, my arms never even got that large!) and they stand out like highways on a roadmap now that they've gotten more tan from the lotion. Food for thought.Female, 21, 5'6"

Re: Jergen's Natural Glow!
Thanks for the info about these lotions. I am glad someone brought this up because I have been thinking about trying them. I have one question - if you go out in the sun does this cause the lotion to react with your skin? I was just wondering if you do decide to go in the sun and you have been using the lotion will your skin turn orange or something awful like that. Just wondering....Start Date: 12/04
