Prenatal Vitamins?

My doctor prescribed me PreNatal Vitamins, are they good or should I buy over the counter Vitamins??

I don't know how they compare to what Dr. Atkins suggests, but I would look it up in the book. Did they pharmacy give you any paperwork that tells you what the vitamins contain? I know with each pregnancy I have had, the prenatals work great. I always had great growing hair, my nails were awesome, and I felt great. I would assume that they would provide what you need doing Atkins.
